Owner Spotlight - Dr. Dickson Liu

I’m Dr. Dickson Liu, proud owner of my own optometry clinic in Toronto, North York, ON.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I was born in Hong Kong, moved to Canada and went to high school in Toronto. At the University of Toronto, I studied Biochemistry, after which I pursued a degree in optometry at the New England College of Optometry.

Opting to become an optometrist to serve and provide the public with eye care services, I enjoy talking to patients and helping them with their issues. Over the past twenty-one years, I have provided the public with routine eye exams, laser surgery consultation, and emergency eye care consultations. I provide my clients with compassionate and focused care. I believe that my perseverance and patience have been the driving force behind my success and my honesty, integrity, passion, and hard work are what set me apart from the crowd.

Apart from my practice, I admire dance companies and artists as they require great amounts of dedication and passion to do what they do. Their drive and commitment to their craft is truly inspiring

While I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my son and ballroom dancing with my wife. Having such a loving and supportive family is extremely satisfying. I am part of the board of directors for a dance company and volunteer at my son's school in the parent council.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
